Just a quick note to you to say THANKS for another wonderful MOPARFEST!!! Looks like you guys out-did yourselves again. We have a huge gang that comes up and camps at Holiday Beach Campground, and we all had a great time, as we always do. We are especially thankful to the weather Gods for giving us a perfect weekend. We will be interested to see what the car counts were.........we heard 1200 on Saturday? That's gotta be a record for the first day.

I give you people a 2 thumbs up for another great family show of cars and vendors. I attended on Sunday with my 2 grandsons, and we had a blast. A couple of things I would hope you would consider for the future, is first, have more than 1 tent where a family can sit and eat a burger or fries and cool down, and maybe some tables or benches scattered around the park for people to sit and rest for a few minutes. Second, I am concerned that the message you may be sending the young people is a little mixed, by having 3 beer tents at a venue that spotlights cars. That may confuse them while we tell them not to drink and drive, we put more thought into beer tents than food concessions. Thank you again for a great show and we will see you next year.

Let’s hope for good weather :) On the main page for your 'participants prize' you should clarify there that it’s for 86 or old cars. Until you look through the entire site or get your paperwork after registering, you don’t know this. Shame it’s not open to all participants.

Great show every year and good # of vendors, always get some parts for my Cuda when there this is the first year I've driven it since I started the resto 15 yrs ago. Only got 200 miles on it , will bring it next year but will be down for some odd parts I need.

Hi guys. I just looked at all of the photos from last year - they looked great. My 1964 Dodge Polara 500 convertible is being painted this week. I have painstakingly spent over $65K restoring this car, but I am working in the Oilsands and will miss this year's show. We are from near Cape Town South Africa, Visiting My Daughter in Oakville in Ontario. We have a large Mopar collection in South Africa .We have a love for Muscle Mopar. Frederick my son has just completed restoring a 69 Charger RT with a 528 Hemi. Together we have a 69 Charger 440 R/T SE numbers M ,71 Barracuda conv 383, Being built at this time is a 69 Coronet Super Bee,71 Challenger R/T and in planning stage a 68 Charger 440 R/T .We also have build a 69 Barracuda and fitted a 340 small block, and another 69 Charger R/T clone.

Looks like it’s gonna be a great show again this year. I DON'T like the fact that folks with newer Mopars aren't in the running for the giveaway car. That’s wrong. We’re all Mopar lovers here. I have as much if not more time and money in my trucks than some classic Mopar owners have in their cars. Lift the ban. You’re gonna drive away the next gen of Mopar owners away.

Great show, very good website, could the show be made into a three day event to make it more flexible for some of us workaholics. The Mopar dealers should have a performance expert on hand to help us build and setup our vintage cars also the Mopar dealer should have more resto parts and catalogues on hand and Mopar merchandise such as shirts, jackets, stickers etc.

Definitely looking forward to it. I myself own a 2007 Charger SRT8 450 hp with stock air intake box(factory tuned). TorRed in color from factory. The car turns a lot of heads. Daily driven, put on 7,000 km since May 24 weekend. Computer says 14 liters/100 km gas mileage. So much for the awe inspiring rumours about bad gas mileage in the SRT8's :)

I have two American 1956 Dodges that I was fortunate enough to find and buy. one is a Royal 4 Door sedan with a 315 Poly V8 and the other is a Coronet 4 Door sedan with a 315 Hemi.( It'll be with me at this year's show) this show is made to continue Mopars in the foreground!

Great show as always. I brought two new dodge owners with me this year and they were in awe.
Anyhow while in the beer tent we come up with an idea that would put a different spin on the event. On Sunday @ 1400 hrs or when the band takes a break..... have ALL the vehicles on site start their engines and rev. them to 2500 rpm!
I'll bet you it would sound really neat & it might even classify as some sort of a record.

Hi, What a great show. We attended the show for the first time this year from Australia. On behalf of our group we would like to thank you all for the hospitality given to us. It made our visit really memorable. You certainly know how to run a Car Show and the fact that its all for charity really makes it special. We have taken home many ideas for our own car shows here in Australia. Hope you made plenty of money for the Grandstand and once again thanks for the great hospitality. If any of you are ever in Australia we would love to hear from you.

This was a great show. I believe this was your best yet. You had great prizes and the 50/50 was huge. The thing i saw lacking was in the goody bags. There was lots of useful info but there were no dash plaques I have been to the show on three different occasions and it gets better every year. I built ,drive and show my 1940 Desoto coupe, which people could not stop taking pictures of it at your show. How flattering. I have found being a member of of Rodmasters Car Club and being apart of organizing the 2001 CANATS that participants like to receive dash plaques. Car enthusiasts come from long distances to attend shows and also like something to stick to their tool box to show their endeavours. Just a suggestion. Again, a great show. GO MOPAR

Congratulations Everyone!  This is my first year on the Mopar scene in the East.  I did Carlisle, The Nationals & Moparfest this year.  I enjoyed them all.  What I liked about Moparfest is it was very well organized, secure and friendly.  I like the fact that the cars were not categorized by model.  They were all mixed up and that is a great way to do it.  Wash room were clean and plentiful and the Legions breakfast was first class and the folks were very nice.  My truck broke down on Saturday and everyone was very helpful in Kitchener.  Had a great time & I will be back.

Our family puts the third weekend in August on hold for the last 5 years so my son and I can attend Moparfest.  Whoever has done this web site has done a great job, but......the slide show leaves a bit to be desired.  There are some really great cars, but what happened to all the trucks that show up!!!!!  I think we saw 3 on the slide show.  Other than that the site is well laid out.  Keep up the great work!  See you at Moparfest rain or shine!

The reason there are not many truck photos on that slide show is because no one sent any in to us.  I had them all in thumbnails before but people were saying it took too long to load up

Had a look at the site the night before your email arrived, turns out my wife and I are in one of the before pics of the grandstand. I like the layout of the site, but not crazy about the Slideshow setup for the pics. I preferred the static thumbnails for browsing. Definitely planning to preregister and be there again this year. Missed the cruise night last year, hope to make it out this time. Keep up the great work.

We are very shocked and saddened to hear about the grandstands fire at New Hamburg. We attend Moparfest every year and will definitely miss the grandstands for sure. They were such an historical structure also. We always have a wonderful time at the Moparfest car show and we want to donate to help re-build the grandstands. We attended Moparfest this year from Sanford Michigan. We brought our 69 Road Runner over without a hitch. What a wonderful way to raise money for charities! The show organization is second to none and such a friendly crowd. We’re looking forward to next year!

This year was the first and will not be the last time we attend Moparfest. We all had a great time and saw some awesome cars. This car show has motivated me to put my hemi in my ‘69 Dart. So see you guys and gals next year. We’ll be back.
