It takes close to
500 volunteers
countless hours (we estimate about 10,000) to run this show. 16 volunteers work year round to plan, preregister the cars & vendors, making the dash cards out, mailing out tickets, advertising, flyers, talking with sponsors, finding prizes, arrange the events that are held within the show like the entertainment, draws engine blows, food etc., and yes, even maintain this web site. The majority of the man-hours are spent on the 3rd weekend of August coordinating the set up, working in the tents, marking the fields, directing the traffic for the show cars, serving the food & beer, and cleanup after its over. |

| You might ask.... Q> Can a student volunteer use those hours as school community service hours? A> Yes, you can bring your high school form or we can give you one of our letter. Q> Can a volunteer win the car ? What about the rest of the prizes. A> All members of OCC Auto Club, the Moparfest Committees and all volunteers are eligible for all prizes the same as anyone else following the rules & regulations. |
